Chapter 4 Renaissance Project
Task: Students will research and create a poster on a provided topic.
Purpose: To identify and understand the different artists of the renaissance time period.
Supplies: Laptops, textbooks, poster board, crayons, colored pencils, markers
Activity: Students will be given 1 renaissance artist to research. Introduction of the renaissance will be provided through the textbook then continued on the websites provided. Students will be given 2 class periods to work on their Internet research and posters. Additional time creating poster may be required at home. Students will then give a short 2-minute presentation on the artist that they researched.
Criteria:
A minimum of 6 facts on artist
A minimum of 3 pictures (drawn or copied from the internet)
Posters are due on October 30th
Presentations will begin on October 30th
A rubric is attached to understand how the posters and presentations will be graded.
