Directions: Using these sites and your textbook (pages 280-287) find information about your assigned nation, make sure to include the following:
· Form of Government (ie Democracy, Dictatorship, Communist Regime etc)
· The name of the head of state (ie President, Prime Minster etc)
· Population size
· Literacy rate
· The Flag and Map of the country along with it's description.
*Date they were granted independence and from whom?
· Economy: how do they make their money? GDP (Gross Domestic Product) purchasing power parity
· Is the country CURRENTLY involved in military conflicts? If so with what other nation or group?
· Languages spoken there
· Brief history of the nation in the modern day (a good place to start might be after World War II)
· Interesting Facts you might find and pictures of famous places or sites in the country.
Using this information please make a Google Presentation show about your nation that you will present, the presentation should be at least 5 minutes long.
