Time Line

Task-Students will create an illustrated time line of events that occurred during the French and Indian War.
Purpose- To identify and understand significant events of the French and Indian war.
Supplies- Text book, internet(classzone.com) sources on the French and Indian war, Markers, colored pencils, white legal size paper.
Activity- Students will create time line of eight to ten events that occurred during or as a result of the French and Indian War. The time line should include the date and name of the event (just like the text book). On a separate paper you should write (in paragraph form) explaining the events and its importance to the outcome of the war.

Newspaper Activity

Task-Students, Imagine you are a reporter for the British on the front lines of the French and Indian War.
Purpose- By writing news reports on the French and Indian war, students will learn more about the war.
Activity-You are to imagine that you are a war correspondent on the front lines of the French and Indian battle. You are to imagine that you are observing battles and reporting the actions and results back home. You should cover all the important issues and events that shaped the war between 1754 and 1763. These articles should be written as newspaper articles to be distributed to others to read.
Supplies- Text book, internet(classzone.com)sources on the French and Indian war. This is to be typed in “newspaper” form and submitted to me through Google docs.
